President Johnathan in company of some service chiefs and the National Security Adviser, Dasuki , visited Mubi and Vintim towns in Adamawa State on Thursday 26th Feb. Both towns were recaptured from Boko Haram by Troops.
The president arrived Yobe International Airport yesterday morning at about 10:45am and from there went to see the Emir of Mubi and his people. He also met with the troops stationed in the area. He said he was very proud of the bravery, competence and patriotism in which the troops undertook in order to chase the insurgents from all parts of Bornu, Adamawa and Yobe States.
President Goodluck Jonathan assessed the area and the damage done by the terrorist in the two towns.
