Olukayode dismisses Shekau's threat, assures Nigerians of Security During and After the general elections.

The Director of Defence information Major General Chris Olukayode has dismissed Abubakar Shekau's threats of causing Mayhem during the 2015 general elections, giving strong assurance that the military will be able to secure Nigerians during and after the election. He told Channels TV today that no amount of threat will deter the military's operation from taking place in the North East or anywhere in the country.

    He also added that a lot of Success has been achieved in the past week in the fight against insurgencies adding that Mongunu and other towns captured by Boko Haram have been  recovered by the military.
