The corpse had bruises all over, especially around the breasts and private parts, leading people to believe she was raped and killed. The identity of the victim or her age is still unknown. The people who discovered her body called the police who came to remove the corpse.
The witness who saw her body told a Vanguard reporter "I am not too sure that it was a case of ritual killing because no part of the girl, on the face value, was missing. It is, to me, a case of brutal gang-raping to death of the unfortunate girl.”

Nwokocha, said the identity of the dead lady was still unknown.
According to the royal father, police stormed the scene soon after getting wind of the incident and removed the corpse.

Investigations are going on and the Police have vowed to bring the perpetrators to Justice.
