Lupita Nyongo's stolen dress returned, Thief cries fake....LMAO


The dress that was stolen from Lupita Nyongo's hotel room after she wore it to the Oscars has been returned. TMZ reported Friday night, and the person who stole it says the garments pearls were fake.

The gown was reported missing from The London West Hollywood Hotel on Wednesday, and investigators said it was taken between 8am and 9pm. The gown was designed by Francisco Costa for the Calvin Klein collection  and is said to be worth $150,000.

TMZ said the thief called Friday and said the dress would be in a bathroom next to a fitness center at the London — where authorities found it shortly after.

TMZ also said the caller claimed to have taken a few pearls off the dress to have them looked at by a garment expert, and was told they were not real pearls

The thief said he contacted TMZ because he wanted the world to know "Hollywood's fake bullshit."
